It's always the thought that counts when given a present for your birhtday or Christmas, right?
My mother recently bought me tickets to go to a Bon Jovi's concert for the 19th December. The other two tickets are for my parents. I don't mind going with my parents, I'm not embarrassed. And its not because I don't like Bon Jovi...I'm an AVID FAN of Bon Jovi. And I'm grateful for the tickets, as it would be my first time to see Bon Jovi.
The real reason behind my slight disappointment was that it wasn't exactly what i wanted for Christmas. (what i really wanted was the new nintendo wii pack with the super mario game, to celebrate their 25th anniversary) I'm not sulking. I'm over it now. But it made me wonder...
Just how hard is it for people to find the perfect present for someone you love?
All i can say is, thank God for gift cards.
