Okay, so it's school holidays right now meaning I get to relax my ass off right?
Not completely so.
I've been assigned various works by certain subject teachers (i.e. legal studies, physics and extension history) that is to be completed during these holidays. Now i guess it is the initial reaction for adolescents, like myself to commence the constant complaints to teachers (who, in truth, don't really care) in regards to ruining their holidays. Which i did. But not to their faces of course.
The way i sulk is to wait until lunch time arrives to bring forth my bad news to the group and it is there where i put forward my troubles. But usually I'm not alone. There are others in the same pickle as i am and are in desire of first claim to have their woes being heard first.
As my fellow associates gets themselves settled in their appropriate seats around our usual lunch spot (which consists of four benches in the shape of a square placed in a shady corner might i add) i hold back and start to open the glad wrap around my sandwich.
Once everyone is settled, it is then someone will take the spotlight away from the others and begin to tell their tale. It is then everyone will draw their attention to the orator on stage. Once the first act is finished, everyone battles to be the second act and so on.
After each person is heard and the anger released out of our systems, each competitor tries to play themselves as the worst off for the holidays by emphasising their dilemmas. It is here that our last lunchtime before the two weeks of holidays begins is spent.
It is here that the sound of the bell signals the end of the roundtable.
